more problems finding the correct colour for your Fleetscale model
warships. This is the paint that is used today on Royal Navy ships. The
correct colour grey for the hull and upperworks, it is a modern silcone
alkyd paint. Although it is still an enamel paint it is hardwearing and
relatively quick drying - 3 hours touch dry.
This same colour grey would also have been used on some WW2 British Navy ships. It is classed as NATO so it is likely it could be used on all modern ships of the NATO fleet. Suitable for brush painting out of the tin it can be thinned with white spirit for spraying - upto 50/50 - three coats is suggested when spraying.
